LaTeaDa Tea Room & Gift Shop
I went to LaTeaDa yesterday with a group of Co-workers. WHOA, was I impressed!!!! They were having a holiday event, and had a special menu. I chose a candied Christmas Salad, that had praline pecans, bacon, mandarin oranges, dried cranberries, and had their house dressing, it was out of this world!!!! For dessert we had a little plate with 3 different desserts. one was a lemon cupcake, one was a chocolate raspberry bar and the other was an oatmeal cake. I cannot stand 'oatmeal', but this cake was delicious! It had coconut and pecans glazed on the top of it. My friend has their cookbook and said she thought it was in there, yeah! I ended up finding gifts for my mom and sister upstairs in their giftshop. How did I not know this place was here???? I will be doing more shopping before Christmas, I'm sure! I bought myself a new scarf too. Thanks for such a great day LaTeaDa. I will be back!
