Absolutely the very best! From the Tea cart to smell the Teas to the food presentation, everything was exceptional, freshly made sandwiches with plenty of fillings and great taste and the scones the very best straight from the oven,. The staff were very friendly indeed and the own an absolute gem. We had a gluten free person with us and they explained the cross contamination they have in the kitchen making their sandwiches all the time so my guest had the best most salad remarkable salad. Seems like GINA T. from below just didn't get her own way. Highly recommend this place easy to see why they win all the awards and food network film there. FANTASTIC! They know how to do Tea right here! Go you won.t be disappointed.

Very disappointed, not good at all, sandwiches were tasteless and salmon was covered with tarta sauce. Bread dry and not good at all. Scones only average. The owner was dressed as she was on a holiday at the beach, place needs a good cleaning. Wont be back!

Came up to Los Angeles to check out the top 3 Tea Houses. This one was nice but not the best. Seems like they cater to all the locals and their church friends. Didn't appreciate the owners praying right next to us as we had our Tea, seems to me this should be left out of business especially when your are paying for both the food, service and ambiance.

    Tearoom response:

    Dearest Cheryl,

We have served thousands of ladies (individuals and groups) from all over Southern California from Santa Barbara, Simi Valley and even San Diego. We've been in business for 16 years this November and enjoy serving Tea to all our guests as much as we did the first day we opened.

    Cheryl,

ladies share their stories and situations with us all the time and if they ask us to pray for them we most certainly will.....with no apology ! Praying for and sympathizing with our guests in their time of need or loss is absolutely supposed to be part of the Tea Experience ! Giving Hope to the hopeless and encouragement to the heartbroken !

I'm saddened that you don't understand the intimacy and friendships that occur over a Cup of Tea !

    May God Bless you richly,

    Donna
