My visit to Miss Melanie's Tea Room this past weekend was a pure delight. All my senses - sight, sound, taste, smell, and feeling were in for a treat. The Victorian decore created a lovely ambiance. The background music was subtle and relaxing. The food was delicious, as were the teas, and pleasing to smell. The high light of my visit was Miss Melanie herself. She is an absolute joy. She treated my friend and me as friends and guests rather than simply patrons. There were no time constraints, but she invited us to stay as long as we liked and to have another pot of tea. Her staff is equally engaging. It was a very pleasant afternoon. I recommend Miss Melanie's to anyone wishing a quiet, relaxing tea time. My friend and I have scheduled return visits for each month through the end of the year. Truly, a first class place.
