High SocieTea House
A beautiful tea room--cozy and nicely decorated. We had the light tea, which included a big pot of tea each (there were 4 of us), 1 caramel and 1 raisin scone each with clotted cream & lemon curd, carrot ginger soup and a slice of crustless quiche, and a small muffin. This was more than sufficient for a light lunch-- Only complaint would be that it was rather noisy but we were sitting next to a large party. Also a little background music would be nice.

We are sorry to hear that the group next to you made your visit less than we would have liked, but sometimes when a large group of women who are having a good time get together the volume goes up and the music gets lost. I'm sure you can understand that. Maybe on your next visit you can mention this posting and we could go over the reservations to see that there are no large groups during your visit.
