Abigail's Tea Room
My mother and I came for a holiday tea treat, at 1PM on Friday 12/10/10. She had a full afternoon tea, and I had a chicken Waldorf salad and dessert; as well as a seasonal eggnog-flavored tea. We also each received a small, warm, freshly baked scone and a piece of spice teabread. The food was excellent, as were my holiday black tea and my mother's herbal tea. The ladies who own and run Abigail's make all of the food themselves, and it couldn't be fresher or more delicious. As we were leaving, the whole house smelled delightfully of the pineapple upside down cake that was being baked for the upcoming evening candlelight holiday tea. The ladies were attentive and lovely, giving us some of the history of the house along with their attentive service. The interior is very Victorian, and there is a very well-stocked gift shop. We had a lovely experience, and would highly recommend Abigail's to anyone else.
