The Empress Tea Room & Event Dinning
I have also been to the Empress Tea Room on several occasions, but was unaware they had a change in ownership. I would like to see a post from the new owners regarding some of these negative comments to hear the other side of the story regarding the infamous bridal shower.

We, my husband and myself, bought the Tea Room 6 months ago. We are a very successful caterer from the Carollwood area. I loved the Tea Room and was a patrons myself. It was a wonderful opportunity and both the original and past owners are still heavily involved in any guidence we seek them in. Since we have taken over the Tea Room, we have won 2 awards...one of Tampa's 'Best of the Bay' 2008 and USLBA (United States Local business Association) '2008 Best of Tampa'...It is hard work and passion that we were rewarded for along with the beauty that is The Empress Tea Room. We have revived a lot of the old wonderful events that used to take place here, and look forward to opening our space as an Event Fascility. The rakings on this website is governed by those who visit the website...the peoples site...remember there are two sides to each story and we invite you to experience 'The Empress' for yourselves.
