Worth the drive from Denver to Boulder. Hands down a beautiful garden and stunning place to smell the roses and have a lovely lunch. The tea is what you would expect, and is upstaged by the actual teahouse!

Incredible food, ambiance & most importantly tea! Have tried their Jasmine pearl tea, several rooibos and will be back. Their food was extremely flavorful, interested to go back and experience tea time traditionally seated rather than regular table and chairs. Reservations recommended to reduce wait time.

Beautiful building! You might strain your neck looking up at the ornately carved ceiling. We had high tea there a couple years ago for mother's day, and it was wonderful- even my brother enjoyed himself, so this is not just a tea for girls! They're tea selection is great, my fave is the Blue Moon tea.

The food was wonderful, but the highlight of this tea experience is the beautiful surroundings. The building is a one-of-a-kind, and a definite must experience.

We were so excited to go to the Dushanbe while in CO. We own a tea room in MN and found this tea room online. The building is beautiful, the food and service left a lot to be desired. We have 3 ladies that had the afternoon tea, it was mediocre. The desserts were dry, 3 varieties of sheet cake. The 1st course endive appetizer was very good, but that was the only tasty item of the tea. Our 3 husbands ordered off the menu, their food was also fair. Nothing spectacular. Disappointed

I went to Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse last week with two of my friends and I loved it!! I have been to many tea rooms in the states and I have high expectations. The place is absolutely beautiful inside. We sat at a pretty table in the corner where we sat cross legged, which we thought was cool. Their tea selection is excellent, you can tell every tea is of great quality. I ordered the Lapsang Souchong, which was right on target. Then I ate the homemade cheese and spinach curry, which was delightful. Their menu is really interesting and different. We had such a fun time, thank you!!

My daughter had her 16th birthday with her girlfriends at Boulder Tea House. It was very memorable for her.

My husband and I found this tearoom by chance and since I love tea, we decided to have dinner. We enjoyed our appetizers and entrees and my husband's brother was able to join us and enjoyed his dinner also. The setting is quite exquisite.

I visited this Tea Room while on vacation. I found it very nice and the tea I ordered was delicous. The staff was very helpful in helping me pick a tea I would enjoy. My husband had a sparkling tea which was very good. I thought it was very nicely decorated and we actually sat outside which was nice and relaxing. I'm not sure what happened with the other reviews but we found it to be a very nice place to stop for a spot of tea.

We came across this teahouse by chance, and were not completely impressed. We ordered a chai and an iced tea, and both were not bad, but I was not impressed by the preperation- basically the tea was brewed in the morning, stayed on a warmer, and was poured all day! I expected it to be freshly brewed, but it wasn't. Plus it was insanely busy, and the atmosphere was very rushed and impersonal. Not bad, but not fabulous either.

Whatever has happened to the place is not good. Nicely decorated. but that's it. The stuff does not watch when to pull the tea out, so... should I say any more. Food - never will order again. Lamb kebabs doe not come burned in Asia period, neither does plov come overcooked into the... whatever was it...

Bad food and poor service. Not recommended. If you'd like to get some fine tea, find it on internet from a respectable dealer.

Fine teas served well and wonderful ethnic-inspired cuisine are reason enough to visit the Dushanbe Teahouse. But the teahouse offers so much more. Sitting, sipping tea in the teahouse or in the garden along the creek is also an opportunity to savor the history and tradition of a tea culture that the teahouse embodies in its art and architecture. A worthwhile destination for any tea lover.

This was a very nice and unique experience. The place was decorated beautifully and served a wide variety of teas. The waitress was absolutely a sweetheart, very very nice, and also very knowledgeable about the teas. I would definitely recommend!!

A beautiful setting for a world-spanning variety of food and teas to compliment them. The artistry of the teahouse is breathtaking, and the opportunity to enjoy a truly memorable meal as well as some outstanding teas is sublime.

We couldn't make it for teatime but went for a late breakfast instead. The house tea was superb and was served with an minuteglass timer. Food was delicious and server was very knowledgeable about the history and design. Very fun!

A truly exceptional and unique experience in the United States, the Teahouse is a must-stop. The handcrafted building alone is worth seeing, but add to that delicious foods, sublime teas and a wide variety of other spirits, and it's a place you'll crave. You've got to try the chai, gingerbread and med salads!

Great location in the heart of Boulder. Fabulous decor and excellent food. This is tea food and not British finger sandwiches! Chef creates culinary delights with and without tea as an ingredient. I had three meals there and everything was excellent.

Terribly noisy, impersonal experience. Food is unique, not standard 'Brit' teashop fare, but a world experience. A dash in for a unique cup of tea is more their promise.

A very very good tea room. Food is good, tea selection average but well presented. Ambience is truly special.

This tearoom has a beautiful atmosphere, and is a great place to go after a walk when you are in “downtown” Boulder…It does however get a bit crowded and noisy, so it feels a bit like tea room meets Disneyland and the staff is not always as knowledgeable about the teas, thank goodness they have a tea menu that helps a bit…overall a fun place to go and if you are in Boulder, I would suggest it..

I am a frequent visitors to the Boulder area and the Teahouse is my favorite restaurant of all the restaurants in the boulder/Denver area. The food is imaginative and absolutely delicious. I enjoy having the opportunity to choose from so many different, unique teas. It is a 'dining experience' that shouldn't be missed. I have found the wait staff to be attentive and generally adept at serving. The prices are particularly reasonable for such high quality.
