Tea On The Tiber
We (a party of 8) visited the tea room to celebrate my mother's 79th birthday and had a wonderful time. We spent two hours there and never felt rushed. A few of us are not really tea drinkers and weren't sure what to order, and the hostess was very gracious and took a lot of time to explain about the various teas, made suggestions, and assured us that if we didn't like our tea we could trade it for another. The 'finger foods' were delicious and I enjoyed sampling the variety. Everything was very fresh. Some of us ordered the homemade butternut squash soup, not something I would normally go for, and it was delicious. But it was really about the experience, and the experience was everything we hoped it would be. Everyone had a really great time and we would certainly do it again.
