The Dusty Rose Tea Room
Jeanette makes the experience simply amazing! From her Victorian attire and decorations to the historic tales she told to the decadent and historically significant menu served, she made our visit to this former mining-era boarding house a truly memorable event. She spent so much time telling stories and making my 4-year-old daughter feel like a princess, it was like having a tour guide for our tea! The perfect ending to a day of stepping back in time to the mining days of Georgetown. Jeanette and her staff even went to painstaking effort to provide gluten free selections for the celiacs in our group. I recommend making a day of it by riding the train, touring the mine, visiting the Hamill House, and ending with a relaxing and elegant High Tea at Saint James Tea Room.
