The Roswell Teahouse
We had a 'High Tea' Birthday luncheon at the teahouse and it was very nice. They let us stay and talk after we were finished, the tea and food was delicious and it was great that we could try as many teas as we'd like. However, it seemed rediculous to have to pay an extra $1 for a 'premium' tea which most were, after paying $24 for High Tea. Also, ALL oolongs were premium!? That is what I drink every day. My friend also had a chipped plate, which should have been tossed. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but I think there's room for a few changes especially for High Tea.

Hi, thanks for having your birthday party with us at the Rowell Teahouse. The reason why we charge $1 more for premium teas is simply because these are rare very expensive loose leaf teas that we use to steep in cast iron teapots one by one. We also clearly have it on all our menu's, we did not charge you for something that is not listed on our menu. But I really want to thank you for still a very nice review and it was our pleasure to serve you.
