The Roswell Teahouse
I visted the tea room on 04/18 for a baby shower. At first I was taken by surprise with the lack of parking, but quickly realized they had ample parking on the street and with the local church. When I walked in, I entered the room that we would be in, and it was a little smaller than anticipated. We had a group of 11 join for the shower, but once everyone was there, the room size was fine. The staff helped with the set-up and accomodated my needs, which I wasn't expecting, and was such a great surprise. I was able to decorate to my tastes, and they accomodated my silver ware and place setting choices. The tea was prepped and was really nice (I ended up buying several different types-the house blend chai is awesome). The food was good, and filling. I found it different than other traditional tea rooms, and the staff explained they were more modern. All of my guests enjoyed themselves greatly. And the shower went off without a hitch. I was a little hestitant at first, but everything turned out lovely!!! We will definitely visit again in the future.
