Mitties Cafe Tea Room
My mother and I drove about an hour to eat lunch at Mittie's and the drive was not really worth it. The sign clearly says TEA ROOM, but there were no teas anywhere on the menu. I ordered their tea sampler and was brought a plate of individualy wrapped tea bags from boxes of grocery store tea and a teapot full of water that was NOT hot enough to steap my tea. Although the food was pretty good the service was lacking as well. Our waitress only came back to the table only after I flagged her down even though she passed by repeatedly. The woman who appeared to be the owner also seemed to ignore her new customers,my mother and I included. I work in a tea room and we pride ourselves on the attention we provide to our customers making sure that they feel like royality during their visit. That the customers every need is met. The lack in service and in tea really disappointed me. This is not a true tea room by my standards.
