  • Quintin's Tea Emporium

Quntins is a small contemporary style shop, holding both an air of what you'd imagine a traditional English shop to be, and a more modern, simplistic shop. There usually aren't many people in at one time. The ladies are more than welcome to help out tea 'newbies.' They allow a free sample of tea with visits, and let you smell all their teas before purchasing. The staff is knowledgeable in the subject of tea, and can answer most questions you might have. Should you want to relax and have a cup of tea at the shop with friends, the very friendly staff will set you up with pot of about 4 cups for $5; their sitting room has 3 tables, so you could have a party of up to 12 people (you could even have a different tea at each table)- ideal for book clubs and birthdays! The selection of tea is good. There aren't too many, and I wouldn't say any of them are very expensive. The shop sells plenty of snacks and tea essentials and accessories, as well!
