High Tea Cottage
I brought a friend originally from Hong Kong who is world traveler and a connoisseur of high tea. She is quite picky and she was very pleased with all aspects of our visit. The selection of teas was amazing and the preentation perfect (cubes, not sugar packets). The chicken salad was terrific and the trifle was fruity with just enough of a kick from the sherry. My friend loved the ginger cake, apparently very traditional. We even learned some British history while there. Our group of four had a lovely time. We were treated like royalty. Definitely will plan to visit here again. It would be a perfect place for a party.
