A Dash of Panache
I attended my first Christmas Tea this year. I am so thankful it was a A Dash of Panache. I enjoyed a very high quality meal that was flawless. One of the owners helped us all through a very memorable sharing time of fond holiday memories or traditions. I was uncomfortable at first but as I listened to the stories start flowing from the other guests, my heart melted. It was very wonderful and deeply meaningful to listen to everyone share. A few shed some tears for past memories with those no longer with them and some shared hilarious stories. My story was bland but meaningful. We all got a very nice blessing from the group activity. Yes, it was optional and a few chose not to say anything but they certainly enjoyed listening to the other stories. The owner's story was touching too. I got a photo of our group and each of us received a nice Tub Tea gift. The price was 29.95 each which is lower than the 40 my sister paid at a similar event last year, at a different tea house. The dessert contained an 'eggnog with pink peppermint ice cream' dessert that sounded...well...yucky. BUT IT WAS GREAT! My new favorite holiday dessert!

Because of all the sittings this season, we got to hear many! The price was $27.95, not $29.95. It's pricey but several guests mentioned that last year they paid $40/ea at a different regional parlor (no longer open unfortunately).
