Teddy Bears & Tea Cups
I often find myself visiting tea rooms around the country as my wife is an afficionado of tea. This quaint shop on Balboa Island, with it's tearoom in hidden in the back of the store, rivals the larger tearooms we have visited in our travels. The food is plentiful, the tea choices many, and the service is excellent (not to mention its beautiful location in Newport Harbor). I found the scones to be especially delicious, which did not surprise me when I heard the teashop owner has a degree in home economics. We will definitely revisit this 5 star tea & gift shop in it's lovely location upon our return to southern California.
