Serenity Tearoom & Fine Dining
My friend introduced me to Serenity Tearoom and I am so thankful. We visisted on Saturday and had a lovely time. From the moment we walked through the doors we were pampered. The aroma was out of this world. If you truly love tea, you need to visit. The elegance and the ambiance was calming; the name Serenity really fits! The tea was amazing! I had the strawberry iced tea. I was leaning towards a hot variety of a fruity tea, but the summer heat made my decision easier. We had a reserved table inside, but asked to be seated outside and were immediately led back the hallway a bit more to the outside seating area. How we enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard and having an afternoon without kids and everyday distractions. We were greated kindly and given the choice of two cold soups, Summer Melon and Cucumber. I chose the Cucumber and it was very good. It had a very fresh taste. Next we received a tray of food that I must say was artfully displayed. Cucumber sandwiches, chicken salad and egg salad made up the first plate, next were homeade scones and bread and at the top were chocolate covered strawberries, fruit tarts, and pecan topped bars. Homeade strawberry jam as well as lemon curd and cream accompanied. How delicious! We had a remarkable time and I am looking forward to returning.
