It's a nice shop, very beautifully decorated but the food and service was average. For the price you pay (very expensive-- I ordered the full tea which was $45 with tax & gratuity) per person we should have been allowed more tea choices and pots. We were a party of eight and even though we paid for a full tea each, we were only allowed two tea selections for the entire duration of the visit. They wouldn't even allow us to change one flavor (so pick wisely!) after the pot was empty. We paid well over $300 for the final bill, you would think they'd loosen the 'tea bag strings' and give us a different pot of tea, if we had all gone in individually we would have each had our own tea pot for what we paid! The soup (potato) was delicious but the sandwiches were pretty bland. The scones were good and warm but the cream served with them was just a spot of whipped cream, not clotted or Devonshire cream as we're used to in such places and they did not serve any lemon curd even though they sold a 'French' lemon curd in their gift shop (I may have bought it if they would have let us try it, again a little on the skimpy side for the price!). The 'petit fours' were actually 3 tiny desserts that were nothing special, not bad but not 'to die for' as some reviewers have stated. The service was so-so, I suppose she didn't feel the need to try too hard since the 18% gratuity was automatically attached to the bill. The gift shop was very nice and worth a repeat visit for unique jewelry, tea and other quaint items, especially if you are into gifts and things with a Parisian flair.

Our I.E. Tea Society made the trip out to Glendora to visit Two a Tea this afternoon. Here are a few things some of the members had to say (as posted on our Meetup website): 'Excellent. Two a Tea was decorated like a Victorian tea room and excellent service. The Royal High Tea menu was the biggest and worth every penny. From the scone to the dessert and everything in between, the food was wonderful. We enjoyed 7 different teas throughout the meal (we each chose our own, plus some) and most of them were excellent. Several were good enough to bring home.' 'This is what the tea experience is all about: the teas were wonderful with many choices, the edibles enchanting and perfectly presented...' I've never been disappointed with my visits here and I'm so glad my group felt the same. We shared a variety of teas in our individual pots and were able to try several varieties, so good that some of us chose to buy some of the wonderful loose leaf blends at the end (I bought the Almond Cream and the Green Earl Grey Bravo, there are many to choose from!). The food was great, the roasted corn soup was one of the best I've had and the fresh baked scones with lemon curd and cream were wonderful! The service was attentive and courteous; they made us feel very welcome the entire time. Definitely worth the price and a repeat visit! All attendees rated Two a Tea with five out of five stars! I do hope they get their website up and running again soon as it is a nice way to acquaint other members of our group of the variety (and the occasional special events) this wonderful tea house offers! Thank you Two a Tea for a wonderful afternoon!
