The Pegg House Tea Room
I just gota say: I LOVED THIS PLACE!! The service was great, the ambiance was very relaxing with quiet standards playing in the background. And the food, the food was just awesome. We were so overwhelmed w/ all of the items on the menu, we just ordered a bunch of stuff: We ordered the Pegg House Tea ( a 2 tiered lazy susan with several sandwiches and a variety of scrumptious cakes littered about on its plates). After that, I had a fantastic smoked turkey breast sandwich w/ an amazing raspberry infused cream cheese spread on a flaky croissant and a small salad. It was outstanding. My wife had a crab cake surrounded by caramelized onions on a bed of salad greens w/ a low cal balsamic dressing. I can't tell you how it tasted as she wouldn't let me near it, not even for a small taste! The service, as I said earlier, was wonderful and I agree w/ the other reviewer: ask for Jessica. She's a delight! Who would've thought: this level of dining in tiny Kernersville! Again, OUTSTANDING! We will be back! 10/19/2006
