Simpson House Tea Room
I took my 5 year old daughter to tea here, for a special treat before starting kindergarden. We really enjoyed our lunch. The tea selection was excellent, and the quality of the food was very good too. I liked the fact they offered tea sandwiches specifically made for children(cream cheese & jam or PBJ) - my daughter loved her lunch. I'd like to suggest they offer different cheeses for their sandwiches - my mother ordered a sandwich and it came with Swiss cheese - we asked if we could have a few slices of American or another type of cheese instead, and the owner/manager curtly responded that Swiss is their only option - no apology offered. A gentler approach to such a situation would have been beneficial. Our server was great, prompt and attentive.
