Linde Lane Tearoom
My mother, daughter and I enjoyed Sunday afternoon tea service here and we had a wonderful time. The staff was welcoming, the service was friendly and efficient and we found the pace of the meal to be just right. We loved that we were able to smell all of the loose teas at their 'tea bar' before selecting from the menu and there was a great selection of herbal teas for my 6 year old. She finally settled on Chocolate Mint and just loved it, my chocolate chai selection was great as well, as was my mom's passion fruit. The tea was served in a very generously sized tea pot. We ordered the Royal Tea, the Teddy Bear Tea and the Ravioli and we all enjoyed our selections, though the Royal Tea and the Teddy Bear Tea were a bit heavy on the sweet selections, I will probably try one of the traditional lunch offerings next time. That said, I LOVED their scones with raspberry jam and clotted cream, SO good! The tea room decor is really very special. Both my Mom and I remarked that a lot of care and attention has gone into the details, from the window boxes filled with tea accessories and teddy bears, to the booth shaped like a giant tea cup, it is charming and eclectic and just feels like a special place to be. My daughter especially loved the pink and black ladies room! The gift shop that you pass through on the way to the tables has a fantastic assortment of gifts for little girls and big girls alike and is worth the trip if you are looking for a special gift for someone. All in all we had a wonderful time on our visit and are looking forward to coming back for our next special occasion. Thank you Linde Lane Tea Room!
