High Tea Cottage
Jenn, as you know, my dear friend Annie invited me to join her at your lovely High Tea Cottage yesterday for High Tea. Jenn, you are an amazing hostess. Your cottage is so inviting, welcoming, cozy and delightful. Oh my, what scrumptious sandwiches and desserts!!! Enjoyed every bite. Ken was wonderful in explaining all the teas and letting us smell a few of the hundred or so selections. Annie was perfectly happy with her favorite - Marzipan - and it was just as wonderful as it always was. As for me, when I said I loved green tea, Ken brought out a heavenly Japanese green tea with, I think, cherry and rose flavors. I could honestly say it was the best tea I have ever had in my life. When Ken poured the first cup for me it was a lovely golden color and the taste!!!! Nirvana. Jenn, you are amazing. I can't wait to see you again - before or after your Meetup event, well, OK, both before and after. After all, as Mae West (long before your time) used to say, too much of a good thing is wonderful. And, there can't be too much of a terrific day spent at the delightful High Tea Cottage with my wonderful friend, Annie, enjoying your gracious hospitality. Thank you.
