The Whistler Tea Room
I have loved this tea room for years (since before it moved to its current location, back in the 90s!). However I went with my mother the other day and they were less than smiling and welcoming. My mother ordered a sandwich and the bread was soggy and damp, as if just defrosted. I asked them to change it, which they did, to more soggy bread! There was no effort to acknowledge or solve the problem, so we might defect to the newly opened Tea on the Green! It takes years to build up loyalty in a customer but only one instance of bad service to lose them!
