Tea On The Tiber
My sister, daughter and I visited this tea room on Sunday. The three of us were very disappointed. The service was very poor. The food was unimaginative and not filling. Would not recommend.

We were very concerned when reading this review. Luckily we keep our reservation sheets. We contacted all of our customers from the date of this person's supposed visit. To begin with, we have no record of anyone with your name being a guest in our tearoom. In addition, we were able to contact everyone who had been a guest on this date and everyone assured us they had a 'delightful', 'wonderful', and 'relaxing' afternoon to name a few of the words used to describe their experiences. There was one party we were unable to contact but that party had left their server a very large additional gratuity. If this party was disappointed then I cannot imagine they would have left such a sum in appreciation. I do not understand why someone would post such a malicious review of a place they obviously have not visited. I certainly do not think our July menu with balsamic ham tea sandwich, striped salad tea sandwich, gorgonzola grape tea tart, or our ever popular Tiber's tomato tea sandwich or our chocolate layer cake, white chocolate raspberry creme brulee bar, lemon shortbread cookie, or peanut butter mousse cup are either unimaginative or unfilling. We are contacting the administrators of teamap to register a concern that people can post unfounded and potentially libelous reviews without retribution.
