Up until they closed, I used to only go to An Afternoon to Remember up in the Auburn area (Newcastle). I never though I'd find another parlor to replace my first love. I came to your A Dash of Panache for the very first time when I came for lunch in your cafe with a friend. I didn't realize you also were a tea parlor! Nor did I realize you were also a birthday party place and baby and bridal shower place (as your website says). I got excited but was reserved when I came as a guest to your tea parlor last week for the Holiday High Tea event. All I can say now is, 'Oh my!' It was fun, fun, fun and delish, delish, delish! You have calmed my spirit because now I have a new home for tea. Thank you for staying open when everyeone else seems to be closing. I am looking forward to taking my hubby there for the Valentine's Day tea event! I'm looking forward to getting your next newsletter, my first. I plan to tell my friends, I already have been doing so.

    Tearoom response:

We were all sad to hear the news that our sister parlor in Newcastle was closing. Fortunately for us, we have heard your story several times now. We have dozens of new 'converts' who have never been here before (many have never heard of us before). We're trying hard to remain open in this extremely challenging economy. We've shortened our Cafe hours to help eliminate being open later in the afternoon when Cafe traffic is low, especially during times when the Parlor is empty.
