Last night my husband and I went to 'Two A Tea' for a special Valentines Dinner. It was called 'A Night in Paris' French food that was delicious and Savory. I have been to many expensive French resturants, in California and in France, and I would say 'Two A Tea' could hold their own with the best of them. The Servers were busy, but not snootie , as in many places you feel like a chore for them. They tried to make it a super night and they succedded..... Dressed nicely in the spirit of the night. The owner was very pleasant and friendly and was happy to serve her patrons with smiles and a special time for each table. To Bring all the food out to each table at the same time must have been difficult. The Bouillabaisse (sp) was out of this world. Loaded with large shrimp, crab, scallops etc. My husband was in heaven....and full after....I had the Beef Bourgwignon (sp) it was wonderful with the pearl onions and mushroom wine gravy......It was hard to figure out the flavors from the appatizers through all the courses, they were all unique and wonderful in themselves.....The deserts, ....ahhhhh out of this world. I had the aprocot cream crepe, and my Honey had the chocolate sufflay(sp)....He devoured it like there was no tomorrow. 5 star all the way.... The atmosphere was lovely, candles all around the lovely table centerpieces with subdued chandelier lighting....Very romantic with the French music playing in the back ground. Lovely arangements adorning the Eiffel Tower centerpiece on the Buffet... The Tea room itself is absolutely lovely. Wonderful French & English Antiques of the Victorian Era. This place is a must see.... Table settings were all matched sitting on lovely vintage Linens. I could see each table was different but that everything matched. Not like some places that are shabby shiek and cute this was all elegance....I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone, It was a pure delight... Looking forward to the next event, Maybe even Tea....
