In the past month, I have been to The Secret Garden Tea Room twice and I live in Seattle. I drink tea daily and I love going to afternoon tea on a semi-regular basis. This is by far the best tea room in the Seattle area! I even like it better than the Empress in Victoria. The large dining room is very spacious and I loved how much room we had between our table and the next. You can actually hear what your tea companion is saying. The tea choices are really good and the food...well...that was by far the best part! The incredible hot scones and delicious savories are served fresh from the oven. We had the Larkspur Tea Set and it was PLENTY of food for us. You can even have more than one (large) scone. The service was without a doubt the best that I've experienced in this type of venue. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I intend on coming back every time I want a great afternoon tea!
