The English Rose Tea Room and Gifts
What a wonderful experience we had at this tea room. The decor and ambiance was breathtaking and my daughter's felt so special with all the attention from the delightful staff. We had the Passion Fruit tea and the Winter Wonderland tea. They were both delicious. My youngest daughter enjoyed both the Passion Fruit and the Kiwi Strawberry teas. The food was tasty although I wish there were more of the tea sandwiches on the tray. I still loved it. The gift shop had a wonderful selection of collectable pieces though some of the prices were a bit steep. I thought it was worth it to spend a little for a small souvenir to add to my memories collection. I must disagree with some of the viewers in regards to the owner's religious beliefs, etc. I did not feel that she was preaching or pushing her beliefs on to her customers. She may have a few things up that mention Jesus and she writes 'Thank you & God Bless you' on the bill but that is not preaching. OK, would you ban going to a Thai restaurant because they have a Buddah statue and Thai verses throughout the place just because you are not a Buddist? See how that sounds ridiculous? Enough said. Many thanks to Lisa and her staff for a very pleasant and memorable visit. We will be back.
