Coach and Horses Colonial Tearoom
I wanted to take my mother-in-law to the Coach and Horses for her 93rd Birthday and made a reservation for the whole family. My Step-Daughter went into labor and I had to reduce the numbers by two. I was yelled at by the owner and told that this was ridiculous that he had someone just before who wanted a tea for 8 and he had to turn them down. I told him we had no way of knowing. When I got upset by his attitude he said he was canceling the whole reservation. Apparently Labor is no excuse for missing your afternoon tea!! So instead of getting a tea for 7 he has a very unhappy customer who would never recommend this place even if they fed you Gold. Luckily we found a reservation at the tea house in the Plains VA.
