Elise's Tea Room
I enjoyed every aspect of Elise's except the tea. The selection was terrible and when I asked for a Ceylon blend I was given Lipton's. I don't drink Lipton's at home! They really need to take the time and effort to learn about tea and its preparation. Otherwise, the atmosphere was lovely, the food was excellent, and the staff was charming. It was not an atmosphere that catered to a long, relaxed talk with friends.

Vintage Tea Leaf
There is nothing quite as wonderful as sinking back in a cushy, over-sized chair, with a great cup of tea, and having a long leisurely talk with good friends. This, to me, is the essence of my experiences at The Vintage Tea Leaf. I discovered the it 10 years ago when I was given a bridal tea there and I've been a regular customer ever since. I find the quality of the tea (no teabags!) to be excellent and I truly appreciated being taught the art of tea preparation during my first visits. After using a tea sock I'll never go back to other methods. My personal favorites are Queen B and Friendship Blend but my daughter-in-law loves Strawberries and Cream. I find Miss Beverly and her staff to be charming, warm, and welcoming every time I visit. The food is excellent as well. I would like to add that I've hosted 4 bridal teas there over the years and they have all been special experiences.
