The Huckleberry Tea House
I moved away from my home town of Concordia in 2001, before the Huckleberry House 'happened.' Now I LOVE to go back... having lunch there is a highlight! The food is delicious, and NOT so huge portions, beautifully served. I had the Susan B (chicken salad on croissant) last time, with a delicious light broccoli soup, and of course, the scrumptious Turtle Cheesecake! Lois and all the staff make me feel welcome and treated like royalty... meanwhile, farmers in work clothes dine near tables of moms and grandmas with young girls trying on the many hats (all well-mannered somehow!). It's a treat unlike any other! You'll love it... !
