The Talking Teacup
After reading the reviews for this tea room, I decided to pay them a visit for High Tea. It was a visit I recommend you also do. From the moment I walked up to building, I felt I was visiting an dear old friend's house. Entering the cute gift shop afforded me the opportunity to relax and browse for a few moments while I waited for my friends to arrive. We then entered the main dining room and I was immediately struck by the comfortable, lovely decor. The Tea Room seemed less like a business and more like a warm welcoming home. Once seated at our table we were greeted by a very friendly and informative young lady who described what the day's specials were and was happy to answer our tea related questions. The food was deliciously fantastic and the tea was wonderfully warming. The scones were warm and tasty and the tea sandwiches were varied and each one was so savory. By the time our desserts were served we couldn't stop talking about how great everything was. I would highly recommend this tea room. Tea drinkers, coffee drinkers, foodies, men and women do yourself a favor and stop by for high tea. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
