Two A Tea
I went to tea by myself one day at Two A Tea, and really enjoyed the food, from the scone to the dessert, and the service. So much so that I made reservations to bring the women in my family for a Christmas Tea. My expectations were very high as we got there but I must say that I was somewhat disappointed with the experience. First of all, there were 12 of us and we were seated in the area by the main hallway. We did have privacy but it was so tight and I couldn't even see my nieces who were seated by the window and the 'cooler' that stored food and vegetables. The scones were great, but did the clotted cream have cream cheese in it? I've never had that before. The tea sandwiches were not very tasty, in fact, the pimiento and cucumber sandwich were bland. The desserts were very good, though. And our server was really pleasant and attentive. She made the experience a good one for me. I hope that was a fluke and maybe I'll try to go there again one day.
