The Roswell Teahouse
We went to the Roswell Teahouse to celebrate a birthday.....and it was the beginning of a lovely day, indeed! We were delighted to find that all of the menu items were made with organic foods. I had never had lentil salad before and reluctantly tried it as part of our 'adventure'. It was so delicious as was the seeded bread and organic chicken strips in the sandwich. We had the orange-mango iced tea & it was very flavorful. The chef/owner, Carine, kindly visited our table to answer our questions about how to make the lentil salad. She was happy to share and we enjoyed talking with her so much. Our server was great - always there when we needed her - but afforded us privacy to visit. We didn't indulge in the specialty strudel - but have heard from others that it is well worth the calories! We have decided that we want to learn more about the brewing, tastes & medicinal value of teas - so plan to participate in one of the tea seminars given @ the teahouse. Also, as a birthday gift from them, we received a 2 oz. pkg of the fresh tea of our choice. Thank you Carine.....we WILL be back! Lynda & Barb Marietta, GA
