D's Victorian Teas
We celebrated my parents 60th wedding anniversary with high tea at this lovely establishment as a nod to their 40th anniversary trip to England. The decor is lovely and 'D' has interesting stories to tell about where in her travels her treasures were collected. The selection of teas (tea bags only) was impressive. The food is plentiful and delicious. we all loved the cold peach soup, the wonderful scones, pretty desserts and tasty sandwiches. I particularly liked the olive/nut sandwiches, so very unusual but a real hit with us, and the spinach/swiss cheese quiche. We had to take home the leftovers because we couldn't bear to leave them behind! 'D' was very attentive but not intrusive, a truly charming hostess. I highly recommend that you try it out for yourself. I will definitely be back.
