My sister and I came here yesterday (Sunday 3/7). We had a difficult time finding many options in the Sacramento/Auburn/Folsom area but we are glad we found this parlor. We arrived early and waited in the front cafe until they seated us. The cafe was 'hopping' with people eating sandwiches and large salads, getting ready for a princess party, ordering lattes at the counter, and browsing thorugh the gift shop along the side wall. As we walked down the hall into the tea parlor, the atmosphere was transformed from busy cafe into tranquil tea parlor with beautiful music, fancy lighting, sheik paint colors, etc. It was wonderful. We ordered our tea and visited the vanity just to look at first. But as soon as we tried on something we just couldn't seem to stop playing (and laughing) until they brought our tea out to the table! Our hostess, Korin, taught us how to steep the tea (fun) and soon brought out fresh scones and cinnamon rolls. Then the courses of food just kept coming. Everytime we thought we were done, another course would arrive. It was a fantastic experience. Our friendship is stronger because of the environment we enjoyed yesterday. During our visit, we got to see a parade of birthday party attendees parade to the back room where they hold birthday parties. We could hear the girls cheering and having fun back there but it was not loud enough to be bothersome or distracting in our plush little tea parlor corner of the world. This was fun. The place was extremely busy, which made it even funner (yes, I know that is not a word). Definitely planning to come back again.

    Tearoom response:

We're so glad you had such a wonderful time! That Sunday was one of the busiest we've had in a long time and our associates were working so hard to keep the Cafe, the Tea Parlor, and the Party Room well serviced.
