Sweet Afton Tea Room and Restaurant
I visited this tea room during my search for a location for a baby shower. I was very disapointed in the food and tea. We were given one pot of tea to share and were not offered a refill. The tea sandwiches were skimpy and pretty much just bread and cream cheese. The scone was hard and brown on the bottom. The amount and quality of the food and tea were lacking compared to other tea rooms I have visited. Not impressed.

We are very sorry for your recent experience in our tearoom. If you were not happy with your food portions, I only wish you would have given us a chance to correct it. We have been hosting successful showers for over 20 years including our own daughters. We wish we could have hosted your shower, but we Thank You for considering our Sweet Afton Tea Room.
Most importantly, Congratulations on the pending birth of your baby!!!!!!!!

PS - I am very suspicious of this post because M.C. posted of having her shower at the Victorian Tea Room in Wyandotte the same day she made this negative post with us. When will this nonsense that was started last Dec. 31 in our tea room stop??
