Glenwood Village Tea Room
I have so wanted to visit this tearoom and finally was able, but was a little disappointed. In our party of 3 we had drinks, a pot of tea (small), the chutney pecan chicken salad, gourmet hamburger, rice/mushroom soup and a scone. It was VERY pricy for what it was. The addition of pecans to the chicken salad was interesting, but didn't make the chicken salad that much better. The Portebello/Rice soup was bland. The chai tea tasted like it had been made from a concentrate. The scone was quite tasty but expensive for just one scone ($3.50)., I have to admit I enjoyed the tearoom itself and the service was quick and pleasant. I don't know if I will go back.
