Pinecone Cottage Tea House
What a delight! Former colleagues gathered for Tea on a Sunday afternoon. It couldn't have been better. A wonderful,extensive 'tea list', delicious food, friendly, helpful and nicely paced service, made the event perfect. Not quite as formal nor expensive as the downtown counterparts. Far more enjoyable. The cozy,Tea Room is right near the train station in Downers Grove, a western suburb of Chicago.Visitors to Chicago, should consider making the trip on the Metra/Burlington Northern RR out of Union Station. Great shopping in Downers Grove as well. Couldn't ask for more.
