Tea Upon Chatsworth
My friend and I had an absolutely delightful afternoon at Tea Upon Chatsworth. The tea room is beautiful and cozy, all at the same time. We felt comfortable and very much at home, as the atmosphere is very welcoming. Joy, the owner, bakes all of the items herself, and everything we ate was to die for. Everything we ate seemed to become our new favorite. The tea sandwiches were amazing, with my extra special favorites being the tomato and swiss cheese tart and the stilton, walnut, and pear sandwich. Joy's scones are the best we have had, and her rose petal jam is unbelievable, and like no other. The shortbread was also another favorite...just perfect. Joy and our server Julie were so pleasant and helpful. We tried 5 different teas, and they were all delicious. The tea selection is very good, and it was so nice that Joy and Julie were incredibly accomodating, allowing us to try all the various teas we chose. They brought out different teapots every time, which made our experience extra special. My friend and I have been frequenting tea rooms throughout San Diego, and recently as often as every weekend...and we agree that our exprience at Tea Upon Chatsworth is the absolute best. We cannot wait to go back!!! Very Charming!!!
