The Drawing Room
I adore 'takig tea' and this tea room in Cos Cob is a wonderful place for a 'cuppa'. The day I called to make a reservation for very late in the day, in fact 1/2 prior to closing time, I was told that even if I arrived 5 minutes before closing I could still be served with a smile! They were so right as I arrived about 15 minutes to 5 and was treated with graciousness, charm and an array of very appetising sandwiches and the most delicious scones! The ambience was stellar (I sat right next to a babbling brook outside my window) the food so tasty and my very lovely French server was professional, patient and so welcoming. The shop that is connected to the Tea room is not to be missed! I picked out a stunning portrait of the Father of our country to give to my husband for Father's Day! I am so amxious to return to The Drawing Room.
