Not too many teas available. the crumpet I ordered hardly stands out in my mind as memorable. small cramped space, so get it to go and sit by the water instead.
This was my first visit to this teashop. The exterior is a little rundown, but inside is quaint. Service:It was fairly quiet when I arrived, which was pleasant. Service was slow at first, then it picked up rather quickly, with my server checking up on me every few minutes and then the service died down again to where I had to wait quite awhile to get my check. It seemed kind of inconsistent, however my server provided good service. Food: I ordered the Alexander tea. The food was simple and delicious. I appreciated the variety of fruit along with the savory sandwiches. The cookies (black and white cookies) were somewhat bland, but I enjoyed the almond cookie. The plate was not overstuffed with food. It was good portions that left me pretty full. The tea I chose was excellent, but there could be more options to choose from. All in all, I would come here again.
