Mitties Restaurant and Tea Room
I have been to 'High Tea' in London and in Victoria, Canada. While I understand it would be hard to duplicate here, I was expecting something at least similar. I wish I had read these reviews first, because I took my sister for her first time. The 'tea' was hot water that we poured ourselves over tea bags. The mediocre food was served on a lunch plate for each of us. Most of the desserts were pretty good and served on a nice two-tiered platter, but were straight from Sam's. For $20 a plate, I expected far more. And then they added a 20% gratuity for two people! I won't be going back.
