The Pegg House Tea Room
This can be a nice afternoon tea experience under the right circumstances. I was there using a Living Social offer that was close to expiring and so they were rather full. We had a reservation and were seated immediately but it took 50 minutes before we were served. Most other people there seemed to be waiting quite a while also. However the people at the table next to us came in about 25-30 minutes after us but were served before us. At that time I asked about my food and was told it was coming. We were finally served and the food was great but what blew me away is that there was never an apology for the delay. It is much easier to forgive when someone asks for forgiveness. Apart from the tea I requested not being available, everything about the tea and food were excellent. I love afternoon tea and wherever I travel I make an attempt to visit an afternoon tearoom. This one is comparable to many of the nicer ones I have visited and is a good value for the price.
