The Royal Tea Room & Restaurant
I have been to the Tea Room on several occasions. I enjoyed it so much that I actually retained their services to host my Engagement Party. The food was nothing short of amazing and the location is top notch. The owner was most accomodating. We had mini chicken cordon bleus, meatballs, macaroni and cheese, green beans, etc. It was out of this world! Last Sunday, I attended the Mother's Day Tea Service. By definition, a tea service is not a quick event. We anticipated spending the afternoon there, which we did. The food was wonderful, as always. (Kudos to the Cream of Crab!) The Lady Grey tea is now one of my favorites and the scones were too good for words. (The blackberry preserves inside of the scones were absolutely delicious!) I particularly enjoyed the pretzel cups and candied walnuts. Our waitress was courteous and I never saw her without a smile on her face. I will remain a loyal patron to the Royal Tea Room until I am given a reason to be otherwise, which I don't see happening anytime soon. :)
