The Victorian Parlor
Members of the Victorian Friendship Society enjoyed a fabulous time at the Victorian Parlor on April 25. From the moment you walk in the door the owners make you feel welcome as if you were lifelong friends. The food and decor are fabulous. Take time to explore the beautiful gardens in the back too. Thank you Daryl and Paula for a lovely afternoon.

The Black Rose of Hanover
I was quite surprised to find a 'For Rent' sign in the window of the Black Rose Tea Room just before Christmas. I called the phone number to see if it had closed permanently or perhaps just moved, and was happy to hear Helen's voice on the other end of the line! The tea room has simply moved around the block and is now part of the Beechmont Inn Bed & Breakfast on Broadway in Hanover. The Black Rose phone number is still good, so be sure to stop in and congratulate Helen on this next step in the life of the Black Rose.
