My friend and I had decided to meet at Paddingon's for lunch. When we arrived we were kindly greeted and immediately seated. The tea and food were tastey. Unfortunately, we encountered several young children who although were with their parents, lacked much needed supervision. At one point it got so bad that an object was thrown by one of the children almost striking my friend in the head. The Paddington staff did nothing to address this problem and continued to give the children full reign of the establishment. As a result I ended up speaking to the parents of these children so that some form of control could be had. It was a disappointment. I'm sure that Paddington's can be a great place to enjoy good tea, good food, and good friends. It's a shame that they lack the ability to provide a place where all customers can have a positive experience. I have serious doubts about returning.
I brought my mother to Vintage Tea Leaf as a surprise. Upon entering I was a bit cautious since our greeter needed a little improvement on her people skills. However, our server was very insightful and attentive. We both thoroughly enjoyed the Vintage Afternoon Tea for Two. I look forward to my next visit.
