High Tea Cottage
I had tea here a couple of weeks ago as a member of a tea aficionado group and everyone then was delighted on arrival in finding the venue was none other than a free standing cottage as such a building feels intimate and cozy yet the hosts, make you feel like they are entertaining royalty. The interior is spotless and table service is fresh and clean. On both occasions, I could only praised the food, service, general appearance and cleanliness of the place. The food is finely made, the sandwiches coming to the table are just off the cutting board and nothing is stored, no short cuts are used or skimping on quality and effort. Jenn and Ken seem to have the service down to a science as our tea cups were constantly filled without requesting it. I'm a Londoner and was raised on being taken out to tea and High Tea Cottage lives up to everything you should come to expect when going out to tea. I read the awful comments of Sue on 4/16/09 and I can't understand what could possibly inspire such remarks as Jenn and Ken are #A1 professionals and can be proud of what they've created in Woodland Hills. I can't wait to go back for tea #3...and #4...etc., etc., etc..
