Bonnie and the girls make you feel at home the minute you step in the door. The aroma of wonderful home cooking wafts out of the kitchen. You will NEVER be disappointed with the quality or quantity of any of her offerings. I had breakfast tea there and we had so much I got a to go box and shared it the next morning with my husband. He was impressed! I have had other luncheon teas there and always enjoy each one. Her gift shop is beautiful also. No wonder she is #1 in the area and always will be in my book!

My friend decided to take me here for my birthday. Never again! She was so upset, we arrived a few minutes early and were told go walk around I'm not ready for you. ALL the tables were set and NO ONE ELSE was there at the time. Would it have been to much to let us sit at the table and talk till she was ready? I think NOT! Then during the tea there was LOUD country music in the background, not the atmosphere I want for tea! The food was just regular stuff I could get at a diner. No thanks! The picture of the front isn't even where she is!

I am very concerned that your review has incorrectly identified our tearoom as the one you visited. First of all, I was not open in March of 09 as the place where I do tea was closed for the season on that time frame. Secondly, we have NEVER played country music for any patrons, since the day I opened in 1997...Additionally, we do advise our patrons if we are not quite ready for them when they are indeed early or conflicting with another reservation but we invite them to browse our store while they are waiting. In all of our years we have never had someone complain about such a small thing. Finally, we pride ourselves on our menu prep. and planning and it certainly isn't 'diner food.' We have to wonder if you have reviewed the right tearoom. If indeed you think you have, then I have to respectfully disagree with ALL of your statements as none of these apply to us. You may in the future want to speak to the owner or manager if indeed your service was that unacceptable and give them the opportunity to correct something. Frankly, when we read your review we were baffled..to say the least...
