The Picket Fence & Garden Tearoom
I visited this tea room on 9/13/08 with The Victorian Ladies Tea Society of Philadelphia. We found the place to be quite lovely, the food was plentiful and delicious, and the gift shop was very nice with a wide variety of items. It was a bit busy, but we found the staff to be attentive, and the visit was wonderful. Unfortunately we will not be able to return. Most of us do not drive, and the 2hr 15 min ride on NJT was very difficult for some 'aging' bodies. However, I recommend it for anyone with a car, I'm sure the ride is faster than the bus was. What a lovely place to spend a quiet Saturday afternoon.
